Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing guided meditation technique that has been proven to reduce stress, lower blood pressure, strengthen the immune system and enhance sleep among other benefits. At it’s simplest level, it relaxes the whole system. It also can help manage pain, process deep emotions and help integrate a busy life. All from the guided meditation as you lie in shavasana. Join certified Kripalu Yoga Nidra Facilitator Deb Cook at Maine Audubon in Falmouth for Winter’s Deep Peace Yoga Nidra. Rest in the embrace of the Gilsland Sanctuary as you sink into the support of the heated floor to rest and relax……
Each session begins with gentle Kripalu yoga stretching before settling into the guided yoga nidra. Bring a light blanket or covering and an eye bag if you have one, as well as your yoga mat.
